Doctors today

Good afternoon

Ive got the docs today at 5,30. hopefully she will allow me to go back to work, been of since start of March and I cant afford any more time of

Fingers crossed please

    Good luck with your appointment. If your GP does say you are ready to go back to work, it may be an idea to ask about the Fit Note which can help wit a phased return re reduced hours or reduced duties.

    well it did not go well, doc refused to let me go back to work as I have the Orthopaedic hospital on Wednesday( for an uptodate scan) and on Thursday with the surgeon about a possible op so that's me off till end of next month at least.

    Oh well just have to let the boss know but, ill wait till tomorrow for that

    I think your doctor did the right thing
    I know how much you want to go back to work but you need to be fit first
    Wait and see the results of your scan
    Honestly I've been in your situation I've gone back to work in the past on numerous occasions when not well enough and made my condition worse
    It's works pressure on you to go back making you feel guilty they do it all the time
    Just wait and see how you get on
    Trust me you don't want to go back to work still suffering it helps no one especially you

    This is a good thing, liy, although it may not seem like it to you. Things are obviously not right and surely they must be as good as possible before you resume work. Hang on in there, it will all come right in the end. DD

    many thanks for all the replies I do appreciate them

    Went into work boss day off so that was good for me, text boss to update and although I get a text back it was a pretty formal 1 oh well...

    I do know that I would struggle badly at work if I went back right now but,work pressure and financial pressure are weighing heavily just now especially since im moving into my new home come Monday, that is something to look forward to.

    Right being positive here things can only get better, fingers and everything else crossed.
