I don't know why I couldn't sleep apart from usual pain and discomfort
Just didn't feel right
So feel like I did when worked nights
So heading to bed for a few hours snooze then I need to tackle the bathroom!
Hope you all had a good night
Maria

Hope your nap helps. I had disturbed night too. Went out yesterday and find I always have a bad night afterwards. Am glad I am not the only one who wakes up feeling as tired as I went to bed! Have tried avoiding 'power naps' during the day to see if that makes a difference, but it doesn't. This arthritis 'lark'(?!) certainly makes itself felt in other ways, apart from the dreadful pain. It seems to affect everything you to do.

Hope you are all having as good a day as possible.

We all get nights like that, it's just another thing we have to take in our arthritic strides. Don't push yourself too hard today and don't be surprised if you have a real 'slump' between 3 and 4pm, that's when the bio-rhythms drop. DD

    Will remember that DD
Now have a lovely clean bathroom
Used my steam mop gadgets (one advertised on tv) it worked well but my giddy aunt it was heavy when doing shower screen and mirror my hands and wrists are suffering now! I'm sure it wasn't that heavy or I must be weaker
Resting now then heading for a bath
And why when the toilet is spic and span do I need to have a wee when I didn't before I cleaned it

I've been wondering about getting one of those bright green machines - how useful (and easy to use) is it? DD

To be honest I think they are a waste of time
Takes me ages to pull it apart and set it up to do other things
It's not as light as they say its heavy when you are holding it to clean windows
Had mine a few years and only used it about 5 times
Others may like it but not for me

It seems reasonable that weight is an issue - water weighs a ton, I struggle with the kettle sometimes! Thanks Maria, I think I'll save my pennies. DD

    I would DD
I was shattered and sweating profusely (all that steam) afterwards
Needed that rest and bath to cool down and smell nice again

Not sleeping makes everything so much worse doesn't it? It's soul destroying. I didn't sleep for different reasons last night. My next door neighbour, who is a lovely man, is bi-polar and an insomniac. he frequently has fits of rage during the night, last night being one of them, so I was woken at 1, 2, 3 am to the sound of him screaming and shouting and effing and jeffing. His meds aren't working apparently and I feel very sorry for him, but in the wee small hours...grrrrr.
