I'm pleased you saw your doc and managed to tell him how you feel! I've been taking this med for 4 weeks now, although it seems a fairy low dose, don't have highs/lows (so far, anyway!), but I do have insomnia - most nights I wake after 5 hours (ish), add that to the general fatigue and going to work, by Friday evenings I'm cream crackered!!! Chatting on here def helps - makes you realise you're not alone and other people do understand! Good luck.0

Thanks for your note Sharon. Is the med at least helping with the pain enough to make it worth all the insomnia? I'm glad you're not troubled by anxiety too. It's funny because I've taken it at this dose before and was fine, so I think it must be the combination mtx, plaquenil & pred this time.
Well I'm wide-eyed just now, hope you're managing to get some rest.
Best wishes.0 -
Meds do help with the pain, a good nights sleep would be great, but doesn't this sunshine and warm weather make the wold a better place!! I'm normally wide awake at silly o'clock, but did a age to sleep a bit after this morning! Hope you get a better night tonight and the anxiety improves for you x0

Hi;
Well, I'm still here. Anxiety has resolved (Yay!!) and have my lovely husband home now offering lots of TLC. I'm supposed to be increasing the pred dose but am not very enthusiastic about this. Somehow the symptoms I'm used to are more friendly right now than the anxiety was.
Having a bad time time with pain and currently into my mtx hangover day. In a lot of pain with joints, and really depressed & irritable. It's just one thing after another isn't it? What's the point of all these drugs taken if you are just going to feel horrible anyway? Sorry, having a rather gloomy day.
I'd actually chuck all the drugs and have the honest pain right now, if I could have one clear-headed day. Tired of my muddled grey matter.
Off to find something positive to focus on.....0
