Morning to you all. I am off to the gp later today I had a letter to say I was due a ra review been under the Rheumy team for three years and the gp has never called me in. Don't know what I am expecting as some of you may know I am not 100% sure I have ra, unless I am in denial. I had a ultra sound on my hands a few weeks ago and they showed no sign of inflammation, they are not a pretty site lumpy and bumpy. There is definitely something going on.

Take Care

June xx

Thank you all, just back from the gp he just wanted to know how I was getting on with medication and ra I did tell him I stopped mtx the beginning of may and I hadn't noticed any difference I did asked if they were sure about the ra he said I was modestly ra positive. I am seeing the Rheumy on the 22nd of this month will discuss it more with him . I did point out the lumps on my fingers to the gp and I asked if they could be oa he said yes but they were nothing to worry about yet.

Hmmm, modestly positive for RA - I reckon that has to be better than very positive. I think your rheumatologist will be the one to give you the best information about this so good luck with that appointment. As for the possible OA, well, I hope your hands are not too hurty. DD
