Thank you for the updates, Joan, they are much appreciated.

Poor Barbara, she is having a time of it, isn't she? I remember visiting my Pa in hospital during a hot spell and the whole place was airless. The frame is good news because she's been moving about and yes, ligament trouble would make sense. She's in the right place and I hope she brightens up soon. DD

    Hi Joan ..and Barbara
    Thanks for the updates Joan...
That's one of the things some people dread...is giving themselves injections
The girl opposite me had a THR about a month before me and I discovered later {after I had had mine} that she dreaded giving herself an injection and worried about it until 4.30pm every day after getting home :o I said why did you wait until 4.30? That's when they did it in the hospital
Personally I did mine at breakfast time{to heck with what time they did it in the hospital  } and that was it finished....after the first one I told Barbara...no problem.
Take care Barbara and one other thing......you say you feel behind.....don't let anyone tell you that their mother or sister or whoever came out of the hospital and was doing cartwheels the next day.....that's what they did with me....all these people that had THR's and the day they came out they were magically healed right away  It made me feel awful so don't let them do that to you....lecture over

    Love
    Hileena

    Thanks Joan.

Sorry you fainted Joan. Hope it doesn't happen again. It's good that you managed your own injection though. Take care.

    Thanks for the updates, Joan.

Well done on the injection front, Barbara. I do hope the physio can sort out the ligament problem asap. Walking with a frame is how I always do it post-op. You'll get there. I hope the fainting was just a one-off.

(Am I the only one who has never knowingly had heparin injections post-op?)

Thank you for the updates. Poor Barbara. We are all different, she's had years of pain and her ligaments will be weak. I hope she didn't damage anything while fainting?

Dear Barbara each day will be a step nearer recovery we look forward to your return,
