St Swithin's day today, if it rains it will rain for 40 days. Similar if it is dry it will be dry for 40 days. (I wish)

Must have had a touch of brain fog myself.St.Swithens very ornate but empty tomb is in Winchester cathedral,he apparently said he wanted to be buried outside,this was ignored when he passed and it started raining ,after it rained non stopped for the forty days and nights they took him out of the tomb and buried him outside and lo and behold it stopped raining.Mig0

Forgot to add eldest son and his family used to live in Winchester ,we have a virtual tour disc of the cathedral.Mig0
