Hi Maria; That's a horrible state when you know the pain is really settling in. I hope you get through ok and the metoject works fast. Take care of yourself.

Mine is undecided at the moment. Is pred going to control it or not? Just going through a little flare and hoping not to get worse again.

Fingers are crossed that we all feeling better soon.

A friend gets that chest thing ... She's been hospitalized thinking she was dying!! So you have my deepest sympathies Maria ((( ))) I really hope it eases soon.

I hope the methotrexate works quickly for you!! Will the dosage change, have you had it b4?? I've been taken off of it until I've been seen by the respiratory team, I was on oral. My psoriasis have started popping up all over me, they're still small tho ... For now :?

I'm gona keep everything crossed for you, heck it'll only hurt me.Lol :) xx

Good luck with the metoject, I can't say that I enjoy doing it too much (I much prefer the original syringe effort, it was a finer needle) but with your professional expertise I am sure you will cope just fine. (The temptation to chuck in some 'inverted commas' there was very 'strong' but I 'resisted'. )

I hope you start to feel better and brighter soon and good luck with your first stabbing. DD

    Hi Debbie
Yes the damned chest thingy first time I got it I knew I wasn't having a heart attack but I've never had that much pain located in just one place so after 1 fast responder, 2 paramedics a trip to A&E numerous ECGs and chest X-ray only to be told it wasn't a heart attack which I'd told them all along was sent home no further follow up it keeps raising its ugly head Grrr
I start on 15mgs of Metoject for 2 weeks then increase to 20 mgs
Just waiting for my Rheumy nurse to ring back then its all systems go
Fingers crossed I will get some relief

It's quite a common ailment with fibro patients ... I must admit I'm glad I'm not common in this instance, it's sounds horrific :( Head & chest pain ... they seem to hit panic buttons over!! It's better to be safe than sorry I suppose mind you :)

    They're crossed ;) xx
