Paralympics anniversary

Sunday is the anniversary of the Paralympics and I've been watching the disabled world championships on More 4 all week.
They are wonderful and an inspiration to us all, it has been magical watching them.
A fascinating day to savour.

    Yes the Paralympics was wonderful wasn't it? and does NOT seem 12 months ago :shock:

    Must say Ron I love watching the Paralympics ...like you say they are inspirational....we have the iron man next weekend the cyclist come past my house so will be up at 6....to cheer them on.. but a couple in particular are in wheelchairs.... :o my hat goes of to them...swimming cycling then a marathon....Im tired thinking about it.... :)

    I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Paralympic Anniversary games yesterday to watch these super-humans do all those sports, it was incredible. I have to say I enjoyed it more than the able bodied Anniversary games! And the young lad they interviewed who wants to grow up to be a Paralympian touched me, it was great!
