    Hi poor you
I've problems with both my feet had two operations to left and will require surgery to right at some point
If I was you I would go back to your GP he can arrange for you to have an X-ray it seems if you are still in pain and still swollen after 8 weeks then they could be something wrong
I had similar experience about 10 yrs ago went to A&E twice they refused to X-ray as I hadn't had an accident went to GP told him how long I'd had the pain and A&E refusing to X-ray he sent me for X-ray and yes I had fractured my 3rd metatarsal bone on right foot same one Wayne Rooney did and he was treated by having his foot in an oxygen tent thingy it's a common complaint with footballers and they get treated straight away I had nothing but a good GP
    Good luck

My feet and ankles hurt all the time, I have both PsA and OA in the joints. Drop-in centres tend not to be blessed with Xray equipment, you have to see your GP to get a referral or go to A&E. DD

PS You may gain more replies if you post again on LWA, not many people look in on this forum.
