Well just to add to insult to injury I have gone and tripped over the pavement , ambulance to hospital , luckily no broken bones but soft tissue damage to an already painful knee and back on two crutches, no driving etc etc !!! So now I'm back to sitting downstairs at 3am with hot milk as pain is stopping sleep. !!! Anyhow I just wanted to winge really . have got my rheumy appt through for Sept 09th , second opinion and really hoping to get sorted out .

Oh dear! Exactly what you didn't want. Whinge away, Kate. You've earned the right I'm glad no bones were broken but what a bummer! If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I learned the hard way over the years to concentrate on the task in hand when walking outdoors - I have been known to walk past friends and neighbours simply because I haven't 'clocked' them. I find things a little easier now I have a rollator, that has made a big difference. I hope things are easing for you today, keep up with the dullers because they do help. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
