Question.....

Has anyone been/know of anyone gone to Canada?.

I have relatives there and have always wanted to go, but I have no idea when the best time to go would be or whatever.

Any ideas?

I know the Travel Agent would be a good place to start for questions, but would be good to know of any first hand experiences (and I can't really ask my dad to ask the relatives, cause I wana surprise them closer to the time).

Have flown to Toronto many times in the last 11yrs that my son emigrated over there.

Its a 7 hr flight from North of England, and I find that enough.
Any longer or any plane changes - dont think I would manage.

I get wheelchair assistance in the airport as I find standing and queuing almost impossible so it gives priority boarding etc. It works out ok and for some reason I always feel a bit better health wise over there, now whether thats cos I get to see my lovely family, I dont know. I have mostly travelled alone but sometimes with my husband and either way I dont have any problems as the ground staff here and in Canada are helpful.

Might not be going for a while though as they have all been here this summer and I dont know which is more tiring me travelling there or the four of them being here.

Whereabouts is your family in Canada?

I think they are in the Toronto area as well, I'll need to double check lol.

Only flights I found from Scotland was with a stopover at Heathrow or Amsterdam (yup).

It will be a few years before I go.... Due to me saving up for heading back to LA for my 30th.
