I have been staying with my parents the past few days for some respite and I am back home now.
It has been very helpful having my meals made for me etc but I haven't appreciated being back to a house with stairs, happy to be back in my wee flat.
My mum pointed out that I was moving stiffly compared to last week and asked when I can get back on my meds, I knew I was getting worse but I guess she can see the change more than me.
We are all so good at just getting on with things that it sometimes takes a person on the outside to set us straight.."you couldn't go back to work like this, what do we need to do to get the meds started?"
I am going to do what my mum tells me to (for once) I am at the GP in the morning, I doubt she will be able to do anything without talking to the consultants but hopefully she can get the ball rolling. I won't be able to get anything til after I get my test results but I am thinking some steroid injections in my shoulders would be really nice-trouble getting dressed in the morning is not fun :(

Oh and I got official notice that my full sick pay is over at the end of Feb, nothing better than trying to get healthy on a deadline :?

Another ramble today but feel I am gaining problems instead of solving them, and I don't like it!

Tomorrow I am at the hospital and I finally find out if I the cancer is gone. I have been quietly been going crazy these past few weeks, I just want to know if I can get on with my life.
I honestly am at the stage that I don't care if I need chemo or not, I am just done with being in limbo.

If anyone has time tomorrow to be in my pocket it would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Jenny

    Hi Jenny,

I will be in school, but would happily drop that to be in your pocket tomorrow! Especially the year 10 class where I'm supposed to be completing some sort of GCSE Assessed Chemistry Practical!

Hope it is all good! Will be thinking of you ()

keeping with the x factor theme we will find out the results after this short break.
basically the doc said the scan looked clear but there was a question raised about one of the lump sites so they are going to discuss me this afternoon at there board meeting- get second opinions.
He is going to call me tonight or tomorrow with the results.

I still feel in limbo and very grumpy again.

Miracles do happen, I thought I had used up all of my luck getting into remission but apparently I had a little left.
I called my rhumy's secretary to say that i was struggling without meds now that Arthur is deciding to flare. Could I have steroid injections or medications that she thinks necessary. The secretary said she would email the doctor as she is at another hospital until Wednesday and she would get back to me then.
I got a call back a couple of hours later "dr wants to see you this Thursday morning, she says we have lots to discuss" you could have knocked me down with a feather  It is tough to get your 6 month check up within 7 months let alone see the doc within the week!
Hopefully I have some luck left to get some relief for my shoulders and hands on Thursday?
