Weather Report for Arthritics....

"we will start the day with widespread stiffness and some light pain across all regions giving way to heavy fatigue and moderate pain by noon"

"more fatigue expected in the afternoon with some outbreaks of heavy pain expected by late afternoon"

"stiffness and pain expected overnight"

"depression to follow tomorrow, with brief periods of smiling"

"pain and fatigue expected to continue indefinitely"

    Nice one, Boomer.

The good news is that that's only the first forty years or so  Several replaced joints and several self-fused joints in, the sun comes out :D

Boomer that's just how i'm feeling this past couple of days - came onto the forums to see if anyone else has headed downhill with the return of the colder weather - its 5 degrees here in Scotland. You cheered me up no end - reminds me of my youngest whose a fisherman - when I ask him what the weather is going to be like he always says "fierce to ferocious, sometimes unbearable"

We had a silly thing in our family whereby anyone asking 'what's the weather going to do today' was likely to get 'don't know but we'll definitely have some' as the reply, and it's struck me that that sums up the arthritic condition quite neatly for me now as well.

Comparing arthritis and the weather seems so appropriate, somehow.

Unpredictable, and nasty sometimes at either end of a spectrum, with all too brief periods of what we'd call nice.

Glad it made everyone smile :D

Today - Dampness causing aching joints, coldness causing stiff joints, and dull causing general misery!!
