How does yours rate on the lust scale?
I ask because I had occasion to accompany Mr SW to a clinic yesterday and his consultant was drop dead gorgeous. Six foot several, young, slim, dark, handsome, good sense of humour, relaxed conversation – the full works. I was tempted to acquire another disease on the spot.
A friend later accused me of fickleness as I had previously given her glowing reports of my own new arthritis man. On that occasion I had completely forgotten to check what the 'extra blood test' was for as I sat in haematology, clutching my forms and dreaming my dreams.
Does your consultant raise your heart rate? Or am I just exceptionally lucky? Or exceptionally fickle?

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

My rheumatology consultant is female and, as I don't bat for that side, I am therefore left unmoved. I'm flicking back through what passes for my mind to see if I can recall any gorgeus doctors and the answer, sadly, is no. It may be time to change my location - where do you live? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Lucky and fickle methinks Stickywicket.....
Nuffin fanciable about my rheumatologist and the orthpod was shorter than me (5' 2 1/2") and about 20 years older(make that 30)
DD let me know if you are moving up there - I'll pack my case

My Daughter had a lovely Doc. He was gorgeous. However it was the porter who asked if he could join me for a cuppa when we went for a break.
I've had 2 very good looking GP's too!
When I had my THR the anaesthetist was lovely however I was lying there in all my glory so had to remind myself he's only doing his job!

My rheum is lovely to look at, has a great personality and sense of humor. I don't really swoon though. I don't know why, maybe because I'm so in love with picking up my husband's dirty laundry0

Mention of consultants raising heart rates reminds me of a friend's story years ago of a young woman he knew who was in hospital being monitored for tachycardia among other problems. Because her condition was unstable and potentially serious she was wired up to various machines which alerted the medics when something was going wrong - or when the eminently fanciable young consultant was making his ward rounds....0

Oh my, talk about drop dead gorgeous both my RA consult' and the surgeon that did my hip well....I would have willingly had the other hip done if he wanted to practice! ! and my consultant makes me dribble when I get to see him too.
Now I need a cup of tea to get the images out of my mindNumps x

The rheumy at the clinic I attend is gorgeous................
But..................
She is a woman, so no drooling from me.
If only her demeanour and personality matched her exterior!!!!
I prefer to be seen by the specialiast nurse as the consultant needs a charisma transplant

My consultant has plump legs but she has well cared for me
for three and a half years now and I love her.
She is the other woman in my life and the Chief Fairy knows this.0 -
