Hello John
Thanks for posting this, I gave up sweeteners many years ago when they were banned in the USA...I hope others read this and take heed .
Sorry should point out it was banned in some American states...Love

Hi John
I heard about this a while back
luckily I have never taken any diet/sugar free alternatives anyway I don't think it's good for me and I really don't like the taste.
Love

Their health risks are well-documented but there's nowt wrong with repeating stuff (for example look at the repetition on here!) I reckon one would have to ingest huge amounts of these things for harm to be caused but, looking at the number of 'fatties' everywhere, maybe people do. :? If I was a sugar-in-tea person then it would be the real thing, the same applies to butter, cheese, in fact anything that comes in a 'lite' version: all to be avoided at all costs 'cos they ain't natural. It's common sense, no? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

That is one reason why I do not like taking my Osteoporosis (OP) drug Protelos every evening as one of the ingredients is aspartame (E951)........
Anyone else find there is aspartame in the meds they are prescribed?

I will not depress you by posting the long list of all the over the counter and prescription drugs that contain aspartame.......

I think aspartame scares are not new. It was first approved in the UK in 1982 and, following anecdotal scares, it was re-assessed and re-approved in 2002. It was concluded that the only people at risk are those suffering from a very rare genetic disease phenylketonuri. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
