Hi
Today is the first of my many appointments. I have an EMG test (nerve conduction) on my arm/hand to test for carpel tunnel. Mr NB is accompanying me today, so at least I will have some company and a chauffeur!
Any pocket dwellers available are very welcome x

Good luck, NB.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Oh, I remember those tests. That's why I didn't come along - I utterly disgraced myself when mine were done, I blubbed like a three-year-old. I apologise but at least Mr NB and the others were there. I'll do better on the next appt! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi NB,
Sorry I'm late to this too. It sounds a bit scary, from reading DD's post above. I promise to be in your pocket for all your other appointments, just in case I'm late again
Best wishes,
PheePsA (psoriatic arthritis) and other things since 1990. Happy to help when I can :-)0 -
Hi
Thankyou everybody for your support.
DD-It was a very weird and uncomfortable sensation, but I didn`t cry! The technicians were very nice and kept me talking to distract me. My results will go to the Neurologist and my GP but they mentioned that there was some `weakness` more around my little fingers, so not typical of carpal Tunnel. I think it is down to all the crutches use and damage to nerves in my wrists and hands.
I am off out for lunch with a friend, who is picking me up soon. But this afternoon I have a meeting with the Union man again to talk about work. I am not sleeping worrying about it all and feel sick most of the time. I wish someone could just `fix` it all for me!!
Have a lovely day all xx
Pocket duties No 2 tomorrow!!

Yup, it was the weirdness etc that truly got to me (it was a long walk to the department and pain was through the roof) so the fizzing and twitching on top of that did not help. As I said, I behaved badly. I am glad you coped better than me - I think everyone who has had these done has. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
