Hello everyone
I hope you are all having a good day with not too much pain.
I had a mri last week I just had a letter back saying some wear and tear changes in the lumber spine there is a bit of fluid within the hip joint which could be consistent with some arthritic change the hip is in pretty shape. so he says I should have a steroid inj in my hip I had one a 5 years ago it did not work I've booked for another I hope this one will work.
take care all

Oh dachshund, I suppose the good thing is that you know what's up and that something is going to be done. I sincerely hope it works this time - remember to rest as much as you can after the injection to give it every chance. I wish I lived near you because I would happily take you to the hospital and bring you home again.

If you need pocket duties I will be there, promise. (((()))) DD

I hope it works too, Joan. As DD says, do remember to rest afterwards. I, too, volunteer for pocket duties. ((((()))))
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I get regular steriod injections into my knee (every 4 months or so) and they have always worked for me.
Hopefully this will work for you, although I don't fancy the idea of getting into the hip! Ouch!
