Hello everyone
I hope you are all having a good day
we have been having trouble with our boiler some one has been out to it the last 3 weeks its 12 years old on Tuesday the carbon monoxide alarm went off we phoned he came and said the alarm was faulty you can have the heating on the next day a man came to check the boiler he said its 4 times over the limit of carbon. we were waiting for a part they could not get them anymore so we are having a new boiler yippee.

    Oh Joan! That is scary. :shock: I am so pleased you wil be getting a new boiler, hopefully it will save you some money on your bills which would be a good thing, yes? I hope this is sorted out soon, the temperature is dropping. :( DD

    the man is coming tomorrow to measure everything. we are using radiators at the moment.

    Oh good for you Joan..my hubby fits boilers and my son...so we know the dangers..we have neighbours across the road that lost there cousin and children with CO..it was in all the papers a few years ago...so sad
    Anyway a new boiler just in time for winter...xx

    Oh Joan! How awful! The possible consequences are unthinkable.

    I hope the new boiler is fitted and working today and I hope you and Sue will live happily ever after :D - more or less :wink:

    we told everyone in our street 11 bunglows and they are getting there's looked at. we all moved in in the same week.
    our new boiler is coming one day next week

    i'm very pleased that you didn't listen to the first chap. You must have had an inkling that it was a lot worse than he alleged.
