Got my nails done at last

Hi
I've always wanted acrylic nails but due to my job I couldn't
Now I can I have got crooked fingers with my middle one the worst so thought it would look silly
Decided to get them done anyway and try ignore my wonky fingers
Got them done yesterday not too long and the lady tried to make my middle finger look straighter and it worked
So now have very French tipped nails that don't make my fingers look too wonky
Jobs a good en
How sad am I :oops:

    Maris you are not sad at all anything to help raise our spirits...good for you I have been thinking about getting mine done...my own nail are very brittle..so might just treat myself... :D

    It does raise ones spirits
    I now look down at my nails and think how lovely they look even my wonky finger doesn't look so bad now
    It was so lovely yesterday getting pampered it raised my spirits so to speak
    The rest of me maybe kna*****d but at least my nails look good
    Off to wash up now with my surgical gloves I got in my Metoject box a lovely purple colour as I haven't got any marigolds

    Love having my nails done , as I have dupuytrens I can't have acrylic but my daughter and daughter in law put on varnish for me and if I feel up to it ; stick on nails . Simple things can help to make you feel better .

    Not sad at all Maria, I've been having mine done for years, my own nails are very ridged and they flake, it looked awful when I was with my customers so had tips put on first but, as they grew out my girl (she comes to my house) just puts overlays on and they look great, I love dark red but I can wear any color (dark)....love the black cherry too.

    If it makes you feel better then do it!!

    I do feel better my hands look lovely I've booked an appointment to have them rechecked as the girl said as it's the first time my nails may try to reject them but looking good so far
    I always said when I finished work I'd have them done I've always had to have clean short nails not even clear nail varnish! Our infection control,team used to do random spot checks and god help us if we had any nail varnish acrylic nails or rings with stones in that was a cardinal sin
    So now as I look at my nails I think how lovely
