I had to go to the dr this morning for a 'recall' smear. I had cervical cancer 2 years ago, but luckily by the time they told me they had already removed it. So I have been closely monitored with 6 monthly smears since. However, I am feeling exactly the way I felt 2 years ago when I had it...exhausted beyond description, very under the weather etc. Now this could be due to the arthritis, but I am more than a little paranoid.
I didn't ask for anyone to be in my pocket this morning, in case some of you inadvertently peeked and it wouldn't have been a pretty sight believe me but if anyone could see their way to hopping in and out over the next 2 weeks until I get my results I would be very grateful.
The weather is due to cool right down from tomorrow onwards - I hope it doesn't cause anyone too much pain.

You will be in my thoughts over the next couple of weeks, you are doing exactly the right thing in getting this checked out (cold-comfort, I know) and we'll be around if you need to chat. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
