Ouch, Joan! That sounds nasty. I've only had the knee and bottom ones. I think it can vary how soon they work. Don't forget to rest up for 48 hours. ((((()))))

Ouch, you poor thing :( (((((hugs)))))

I've only had them for GTB & it contains a local along with the steroid so I have no pain in that leg for around 6 hrs but it takes anywhere from 3-7days to kick in for me.

I hope it works well & fast for you.xxx

I had forgotten this was happening. I am so sorry, Joan, I have no excuse and I apologise. I am not surprised that the site is sore, I can 'feel' the particular knee pain that would come after a steroid into the joint, it's unlike any other. Rest as much as you can, take some dullers and generally take things very, very easy for the next couple of days in order to give the 'juice' time to sink in properly and hopefully get properly to work. DD ((((())))) xxx

Hugs Joan x I remember the steroid injection in my knee vividly, not something I'd like to repeat anytime soon. More hugs! x

Hello Joan. Do hope the injection will work for you. That sounds so painful to go through for a free cup of coffee! Hope you are not in too much pain. Take care and rest as much as you can.

I have found that whenever I get my steriod injection into my knee I notice a difference within a couple of weeks and it usually lasts a couple of months for me.

    But we are all different.

It can take a little while for it to take effect, sometimes days, sometimes a couple of weeks. I guess it's still very sore? :( As usual you are being very stoical and not moaning. You have courage. DD

Joan, you have your own pain and that sounds pretty nasty to me. You cope admirably but I do rather wish you didn't have to. (((())))
