Good news for granddaughter

My granddaughter has just found out she has passed her 11 plus so proud of her ,she was convinced she wouldn't do well,granddads wallet will be creaking open again. Mig

    Wey-hey! That is terrific news, I am very pleased for her. It's a good system in Bucks, yes? I went to Beaconsfield High School for Girls ('cos it was just up the road) and my mate Ralph (now sadly deceased) went to the Royal Grammar School for Boys in High Wycombe. DD

    That's the one my grandson goes to,parents are in the middle of visiting schools to find one for grand daughter.Mig

    Hello mtg,

    My grand daughter got the good news last week
    and my wallet has creaked twice already AND now
    Nana has said we will fund the £800 plus bus pass.
    Luckily I have until next September to come up with
    the spondulicks.
