Hi Jan ,I am so very sorry that things are so bad at the moment,Doctors can be useless at times ,I am sure once you treat those pressure sores ,you will start to feel a little better ,I think its important to keep moveing changeing position as much as possible ,I guess not so easy in pain have you the pain dullers you can take ,I wish I could help more re the sores I hope the doctor will keep seeing them until they get better ,Marrianne xx((())

I've not had pressure sores, Jan. I do know they can be very painful and sometimes one more bit of necessary routine seems like the straw that breaks the camel's back. I hope the cream will soon do its stuff. Have you been given suggestions as to how to avoid them in future?

Oh Jan, I'm so sorry, you poor thing. I cared for my mum who had horrific pressure sores and she really suffered. I'm not surprised you're feeling low. You have my sympathies. If you don't feel like things are improving, please go back and see a doctor or nurse.

Look after yourself and rest up. Fingers crossed that the creams ease your pain and discomfort. x

Thanks it helps to get possitive feedback the alarm on my phone is set every hour so I don't forget to move and my husband who cares for me is helping and applying cream. He is very helpful and I'm lucky he is here for me.

Thanks for putting my own glooms in perspective JanJankay - I think you are being very brave and I hope it's not to exhausting having to treat these pressure sores hourly. Hopefully they will go very soon indeed with the treatment. Matx
