Pocket duties please

Hi guys,
I have an appointment tomorrow evening to see a spinal consultant. I'm slightly worried as I have nerve pain in my legs and was prescribed Amitryptyline and then Gabapentin neither of which I can tolerate.
I was offered a steroid injection last time which kept me going for 20 months but I realise that this just a quick fix.
At least I am seeing a different guy, the last one was very unfriendly, in fact he hardly looked at me but preferred to talk to OH(you can guess what part of the world he was from ) I was very annoyed! :x
Many thanks for your support(I love this pocket duty idea, it's brilliant).
Thanking you in advance,
Trish xx

Jumping into your pocket, happy to be here for as long as needed.
I hope you get a good doctor tomorrow, I am sure you will make yourself heard!
20 months is pretty good for an injection I think, even if it keeps you going until something better is worked out.

I'll be there too, Trish.
I agree with Jenny; 20 months of relief from a steroid injection sounds like a pretty good result.
I hope you have a good appointment. The bad ones stick with you far too long....
Best wishes, xxAnna0 -
