Does anyone watch Breathless on ITV Thurs 9.00?

I'm getting frustrated about the Police Inspector 'cos I don't know the story behind him.......help.........

Yes I watch it Numpty because I really like Jack Davenport ,remember him as Miles in This life .a few years ago ,yes I wonder what he did that was so terrible ,Cannot believe how tiny little Stacey ....from Gavin and Stacey has pilled on the pounds but she still looks gorgeous ,certainly not frumpy behind the glasses ,But my favourite has to be Downton Abbey ,love Sunday evening ....Marrianne :)

It seems to involve her husband and the Insp' son somehow, I wonder if his son was drowned and the Doc' couldn't revive him, or maybe I'm just trying to rewrite the story
