It seems that in future if anyone is acused of benefit fraud then weather right or wrong their DLA will be cancelled and they will have to apply for PIP.
There will be no 'inocent till proven guilty' in any case.

Yep.
Bit irrelevant but....
It used to only be breed specific legislation (pit bull terrier dogs etc.) which was the only law where you where guilty unless you can prove your innocence... Which in all cases IS impossible. DNA tests are not taken into account and even if the dog is a kennel club registered Labrador (generations of pure bred dogs) you will still be found guilty under section 1 of the dangerous dogs out.
I hope this won't be the same in that DR reports and specialists reviews are disregarded in court etc :S
I heard that if you where suspected and then done for fraud you will be banned from claiming benefits for a certain period of time.
I see this being a massive issue for those who have illnesses that change on an hourly/daily/weekly basis. I'm on the lowest rate care and mobility and when I'm having a good day and I leave the house I'm plagued with anxiety thinking someone is going to watch me and think I'm a lier when actually I feel I deserve more as I can't even get out of bed without severe pain most days!
The whole system is going down to the pan to be honest.0 -
