Hello my friends,

You must all feel I've forgotten you ... I haven't of course!!

Our Grandaughter, Amelia Nicola Turk, arrived at 20.07hrs on 07/11/2013 which was her due date. She weighed 6lb 13 1/2oz so a little smaller than our Grandson who was 9lb 8oz in 2010 :lol:
She has lots of dark hair, rosey red lips & dimples .... She's rather darn cute :D I fell instantly in love with her & with her being dinky I can manage to hold her for a little while :D:wink:

Life has been rather unpleasant on the pain, mobility & grieving front :cry: I don't like spreading these moods around so I'm just staying quiet til I've got a grip!! (I don't really know wot I'm gona do ... My hands, wrists, elbows & shoulders are making it almost impossible to use my crutches but I can't wheel myself in a chair either .... This should be fun :roll: )

DD, SW, Anna, Toots, Jenny, Trish, Deb, Barbara, Maria & anyone else my useless brain has missed off;
I've been thinking of you ALL, I wish you all well & some pain free time!!! I'm so so sorry I'm being such an awful friend right now & can only hope in time, wen I return, I can earn ure trust & friendships back!!!

((((((Hugs + Love))))))

    Hi Debbie.......many congratulations on your Grandaughter and what a beautiful name. I am glad you are enjoying her and able to have cuddles. I am sure there is no better feeling in the World. My Grandson is 4 weeks old now and it is such a special time.

    I know we haven't "talked" much, but I have missed your posts on here. I am so sorry to hear you are having a rough time and I am absolutely certain you do not need to apologise nor earn anyone's trust or friendship back.

    I hope things improve for you very soon and keep on enjoying the precious gift of a new grandchild.

    hi debbie, been thinking about you too. congrats on your beautiful granddaughter, I love her name too!

    As I have said before you never need to apologise silly lady, I am so sorry you are feeling so sore- are you bugging those doctors to fix it or are you sitting quietly :wink:

    My neice was dinky too, so much easier to hold- though she is a wriggle monster now! I prescribe lots of cuddles and hopefully you will feel better soon.

    look after yourself

    I suspect you have had far more important stuff to be thinking about - the new arrival sounds delightful and I hope both she and mum are doing well. We all need a break from here every now and again, especially when the 'real' world intrudes; you have been missed but I asure you not forgotten.

    I have a ton of stuff to be getting on with and I don't feel like doing any of it. :( Hey-ho, onwards and sideways (and, today, I suspect a fair bit of backwards too). DD

    Hey, Debbie, what's that all about? You are going through a very tough time and the whole point of this forum is that we support each other through those times. No apology required, definitely no absence required and you have more than earned our friendship by your support for others in the past. That doesn't suddenly evaporate because the boot's on the other foot. We are here for you, OK?

    And welcome to the world, little Amelia. May your life be long, happy and very unarthritic
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Hi Debbie;

    Please don't worry; friendship doesn't dissolve so quickly as that!

    Congratulations on your sweet granddaughter. She sounds lovely and I'm sure is providing much needed distraction and cuddles.

    Sorry you are still suffering. Al the stress you have been through is no doubt not helpful. Hopefully you can try an anti-TNF soon. Wishing that for you (((()))).

    Thank you to each & every one of you for your kindness, support & congratulations!!

    I don't like being unable to help others in return & now fully understand all of ure wonderful comments on grief & how it'll attack at anytime, no idea quite wot stirring a coffee did :shock:

    Amelia is so cute & helps lessen the burden as does Mason, thankfully!! Grandkids are a pleasure & such a privilege :D
    I wish I could post a pic of them.

    Destiny, thank you. Unfortunately they won't give me anything else. I only have paracetamol, naproxen, nortriptyline & tramadol Sr & 100mg normal tramadol as top up as pain meds. I've been referred to the pain clinic but have been waiting months. I'll keep gritting my teeth & crying til then.

    Thank you all.
