No, sadly. It could be a herculean accomplishment, and mine wouldn't even notice. He would notice what hadn't been done instead  .
You enjoy the sense of accomplishment, DD.0 -

You be careful packing up! You don't want to over do it or injure yourself so you can't help later on. Remember to mark the boxes well so you can find things easy enough when you need to and look out for those darn paper cuts!! You take it easy DD don't let Arthur be given an excuse to bring on a flare up this side of Christmas! :shock:0

He noticed the boxes but not what was missing. I am surprised by the ornaments I missed yesterday on my first swoop of the sitting room but I am taking it easy today because the knees protesteth. Anyhoo, my masseuse is coming round to beat me up and I'll be fit for nowt after that. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Oh Joan! That made me giggle, thank you because today is a rather trying one. I confess I have done none today - I am tired, a bit weepy, and stuff hurts so yes, Sticky and Frog, I am listening to my carcass. He is off to the footy tomorrow so I may have another swipe at some stuff while he's out.
You could be right, Daffy, but I've learned over the years that he is very selective about what he notices - and hears. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -

Well done DD. 3 boxes is a good start. A little at a time and you will get there. men are very good at seeing what hasn't been done. Ornaments? What ornaments?Christine0

He's out and I confess that I am slumped in front of the wugby league. I hurt, I ache, I am feeling a very strange mixture of sad and happy which is discombobulating. He has gone to witness the delights of Ipswich versus Leicester (I think) and taken his old friend Kathy with him. She will be boring him rigid with the latest details of her non-existent love life. We are having a take-away tonight, neither of us wants to cook. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

You have a good old slump you deserve it, enjoy your take-away, it's great when you don't have to cook eh! xSmile a while and while you smile

The take-away was utterly unhealthy and gorgeously tasty - house special fried rice with a pot of sweet and sour sauce.
I have done four boxes, I hope to do another two small ones this afternoon so at least the sitting room will be cleared of ornaments and DVDs. Only the rest of the house to go. 8) DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
In the almost-lyrics of the old song 'One box at a time, Sweet Jesus'. Don't overdo it, DD. Do enough to make yourself feel you've at least done something but not so much that you wish you hadn'tIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
