MRI scan

Just got in from the Chelsea and Westminster hospital had my MRI scan at 5 o'clock today fantastic people really helpful mind they made me put my knee in a very strange position and it was painful but only for 20 minutes the walk to Fullham station is only 15 minutes but I can hardly do it anymore. Just had a nice bath gonna get in me onesie and have a nice lay down in front of the telly. Back to hospital Monday to find out what bit there gonna chop off ???.x foxy.

    I've had MRIs on my knees, MRIs are noisy things aren't they? My left knee was so fat they had to squeeze it into the holder :lol: .

    I hope that the scan shows what is going on and that something can be done to help you. Please rest that knee, if you are sitting with your feet up make sure the knee is supported by a pillow and maybe tuck one under it tonight when you are in bed. I've slept with a pillow between my legs for years now, I can't manage without because neither knee will fully straighten. Good luck. DD

    I've had MRI's on my back and both hips
    What a noise :shock:
    You really do need the ear defenders :wink:
    Let us know what happens on Monday

    I remember having M.R.I's a while back, they do make you put your knee's in funny positions! I think I was allowed to take my MP3 player to listen to so the noise wasn't so bad, I think it was the M.R.I or it may have been the C.T scan, they get all muddled when you have had loads a while back!! :?

    pleased to meet you i to have to have a MRI scan in few weeks (1st time)
    having seen posts think ill just take out my hearring aids :lol:
    yes like dd said, i to find it helps me to sleep with pillow (legs)
    it takes some pressure of them.
