Just a quick one, when I was at the assessment for a blue badge I took over some medical letters from consultants and the woman was looking at one of them then started copying some information over to her lap top, does anyone know what the laws is on this?, she didn't say anything nor did I but I did think it was a bit odd, I know they can contact your GP and ask about specific information but are they allowed to make notes and keep them?.

Yes, although you can request to see everything they have on you under the freedom of information act.

Don't quote me though, I'm not to clued up on this side of the law.

    Hi
Yes I imagine they can keep them although don't quote me please.
When I applied they contacted my GP and asked for all my notes relevant to a BB to be sent to them
