With Christmas, my appt mix up and the sad news I totally forgot to mention I'm at the hospital today to see my Rhummy nurse & Consultant this afternoon at 4pm. Not sure what to expect from it, will have to wait and see. Of course if any changes happen I will let you all know.

You will never believe this! Hospital transport got me to the hospital wheeled me up to the reception when the receptionist looked at us like we where aliens and said 'Clinic has been cancelled, didn't you get the letter?' I answered her questioned saying 'what letter?' She said the clinic was cancelled early December. And letters where sent then, but I wasn't the only person who turned up for their appt so the letter drop wasn't a success!! So I've had another appt booked for 27th January and had to turn around and go back home to Redditch! I felt sorry for the ambulance/paramedic woman because she planned to have her lunch while I was in clinic, she had started work at 8am and hadn't had her lunch yet and it was 3.30pm! She was working till 8pm!!0

What utterly bad management! Such a waste of money and everyone's time. Maybe you should take this up with PALS, bubbadog. Someone should be held responsible. And, if your transport lady was expected to work from 8am-3.30pm without a break she'd be likely to cause an accident and result in more patients for A&E. I hope you insisted on her eating before taking you home.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
