    Looks very stylish.
I have looked at the Swi##h ones.....they are pricey but also they don't have the closed arm on them.....they seem to be open. Never tried that type.....Has anyone else? I know if I'm looking at things in shops I lift my arm and my ordinary one just hangs from it.
Would like to know if anyone has used the other type
Enjoy it....looks great.....can I ask where you got it?
pm me if you can't put it here

    Love

Cor! That looks very smart and makes a cheerful difference to the usual aluminium! Good luck with it, Sophie, I hope no-one nicks it. DD

Sophie, love it! Did you get just the one? Can I ask you why the crutch and not a stick? Only reason I'm asking is because I use a stick now but it's hard on my hand and I was wondering about getting crutches, or maybe just one.

And no, I agree, it doesn't have to be dull!

I did get just the one. I should really be on two but finally, I'm strong enough for one! I need the crutch for that bit of extra support, physio would prefer me to use two but I find them a faff. I'd like to eventually move to a stick but being only 25, I feel a bit more psychologically comfortable with a crutch anyway.

Thank you, everyone for your comments. I did want something a bit brighter but found them a bit garish for being on placement!

I love it Sophie...and crutches are much better for the back..a stick can make you twist...how come I have the boring silver one.... x

Love the dots!! I have black pair of walking crutches with reflectors on both the handles! I do love my black walking crutches as they look better than the boring grey NHS ones! There is no reason why we can't pimp our disability aids and make them fun! Go Sophie!!

    Looks great.

I also do better with one crutch as opposed to a stick.
Sticks hurt my wrists too much.

Would you mind sending me a P M
    Of the supplier?

    Thanks Kath

It actually looks like a fashion accessory :D I wish they would make funky wrist splints etc ... rather than the boring buff coloured NHs ones then people could show a bit of their personality through it rather than it being the arthritis controlling the look ! Well done for finding it !

I agree with the hand splints, they are so horrible looking to be honest I don't wear them as much as I should. And they are not kitten/cat proof, especially for stroking they don't like being touched by them. They should look at the design of them and redesign them!

I could also do with one similar to this. I have the standard stick and it really hurts my hand as I tend to lean on the stick and it puts pressure on my hand and wrist. :(

I'm not on commission, should I be?! I must admit the handle is not as comfy as my NHS one but I don't need that level of support atm.
