In a couple of minutes I shall switch off this computer, go into the living room and sink into my recliner with some cherries and whatever happens to be on TV. After a busy few days that represents perfection right now. How about you?

Laughter. The potential for laughter is always around us and it is a very good medicine. I have to agree with Sticky too, bright, cold and frosty mornings are gorgeous (unless one has to defrost the car - unlike Daisy Beatrice has a comparatively panoramic windscreen - it takes forever! DD

PS Another one is a cup of tea when one is very thirsty.

The way my lovely little Westie greets me every morning, wagging her tail with joy and exuberance, as though I'm her favourite person in the whole world. I do realise this is how she greets everyone, but it never fails to cheer me up, no matter how grotty I'm feeling. :D

I really love looking over at the 2 seater settee and seeing Arnie & Willow snuggled together happy. And I'm snuggly warm ready for another day!

    A crisp gin and tonic

    The warmth of sunshine

    Cherries

    Ripe, juicy mangos

A bath followed by a bed that's just had the sheets changed

I can see how the wine would improve the chocolate. But it's what the chocolate's doing to the wine that worries me
