Cream teas and beautiful English summers? Where have you been watching cricket, Marrianne? I usually find it's freezing cold and you're waiting for the rain to stop
I still recall one 'first match of the season', when my cricketing son was about 15, one young lad was just in a short-sleeved shirt while fielding in a blizzard. Ah youth
