Hi
Almost forgot.....after all the carryon about the THR and the fracture
I''ve got an appointment with the eye hospital tomorrow
Remember the problems with my eyes {going on about 3 years now!!!}Had to cancel the last appointment because of the THR....I couldn't bend over to have my eyes tested.

    Good luck tomorrow Hileena, I hope it's a good appointment and they sort something out for you. Is it streaming eyes you suffer with? Sorry I don't remember :oops:

    That was the start of it....streaming eyes but more recently they are sticking together in the mornings.....also lots of scabs {sorry only way I can describe it} under my eyes and in the corners and it seems to be getting worse.

    Hi Everyone
    Well....spent a long time in the hospital today....mostly waiting :lol:
    At the beginning of the eye problems it was just excess tears {bad enough} but gradually it has got worse. My eyes are very inflamed around them.....also very crusty and that's not just when I waken up......its most of the day :?

    Last visit to the hospital I was given some steroid ointment and used it but couldn't make the next appointment because of my THR

    In between times I had gone to the GP and he didn't want to prescribe steroids again but said there was a definite infection and gave me an antibiotic.
    At the hospital they said that antibiotic should be good for my eyes but would take some time to work and I needed a larger dose so its been doubled. I will have an appointment {through the post} for 6 weeks time. He says one of the things that is wrong is that my tear ducts are pointing up and out instead of inwards and that's why the tears. He also says I probably need an eyelid tuck??? but wants to leave it until they are less inflamed.
    So that's it....not sure that I'm any the wiser really :lol:
