Well I finally got my letter to say I am being awarded PIP at the standard rate this has took 7 months and although I am very pleased with the outcome the time it has took is a joke. Small piece of advice to anyone applying for it in the future dont underestimate the things your arthritis limit you doing compared with if you didnt have it the slightest things like putting your underwear on or caring a plate and a cup at the same time can make the diference when you try and explain your world to the assesor.
