Hey, SW, no problem! I was only commenting because I was led to believe that my diagnosis was "it" as it were and if I hadn't pushed so hard it might well have been! Like I say, I was lucky.
I should also have said that it can of course be the case that spinal arthritis causes no problems at all, most of us have it by our 50s apparently, just in some cases it causes issues but in others it doesn't.
The discectomy giving relief so quickly is a good sign I think from what I have read about these operations. I hope that this sorts you out rach21.0
