    HI Barbara
    My hip is doing ok I guess, still feels a bit less stable than the other one though. I go back to see my Consultant on Thursday so will see what he says then. My back is awful however! If I have been lying or sitting , then stand I can`t move for a few minutes whilst I get used to the pain. I have a date to see the Pain Consultant in June so I will hopefully get the injections and see if they help.

    Barbara it sounds rather odd to say that I'm so pleased for you when you might have such a serious condition - but I am because I know that uncertainty and the feeling of not being correctly diagnosed hangs over us like an obstinate smell we can't get shot of. And it is such a relief when someone not only takes us seriously and is thorough but also is kind with it as it sounds like this doctor was with you. Well done and I'll keep my dry eyes well open for your news. Mat xx
