I have to go for a bone scan on Friday and I'm a bit worried it might mean going under that tunnel thingy, anyone had one ? its the DEXRA one.

No tunnel, you just lay on a couch like thing and they move the machine over you bit like a normal x ray, they only did my pelvis area and it only took 10 mins. Mig

it's a doddle, it's one of my favourites because nothing happens! As Mig said, you lie there and the machine wafts over you. You may be required to change your position but the nurse will talk you through it. Good luck, please let us know how you get on. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

I have had two MRIs and due some more , my only phobia is confined spaces but they give you earphone with music , so I just shut my eyes and and try and think of other things..be aware it makes a loud noise..sought of bang bang has it goes over you...but if I can do it anyone can...good luck

Like others have said no tunnel just really like a baby scan without the gel and after asking a few questions all in all a doddle compared to the others...MRI/CT.
    Nothing to worry about.

    Hi
No worries about this one....nothing like an MRI
You lie there fully dressed {in my case} and a large thingey  moves over the top of you {not touching you} back and forward a few times and that's it
Enjoy...its one of the easiest scans there is.
    Love
