    hi all , big thanks to all of you for your kind words..
    not the best time for me yet :?
    as some will no i had gastroscopy and couldnt get down far enough
    (inflamed oesophagus) ..
    now im waiting for a c. t. scan (full) try and find out whats causing the
    blockage..
    like i said good news is ive lost over 20lbs in weight
    im also learning about complan :o
    at least the whether looking good.

    You are being brave, Mike. I have much more minor oesophageal problems and they can be scary. I hope the scan reveals something easily treated.

    I have missed you and was wondering about putting up a thread asking if anyone knew how you were.

    I agree with Sticky, you're being incredibly brave and stoical. I really hope the CT sheds some light on what's going on and ease your symptoms. Take good care of yourself.

    Good luck with the CT scan, I had one and it was nice and easy and I hope yours finds the cause of the problems you are having. Has the weight loss had any impact on your pain levels? I once lost three stone but the joints didn't reward me. :roll: Please let us know how you get on, yes? DD
