Hope you like the photos. We are in Tossa de Mar. Having a great holiday. My flare is not so bad today but I have a new pain and it's in a new place.....
my coccyx :shock: steady yourself ladies. I said coccyx!
I know it's arthritic pain as I'm sure we all would do. Hope it doesn't think it's joining in with the other regulars! :?

I will be having my meth tomorrow after missing last week's. Maybe that will help as it really is a pain in the..... ARRRRR....GHHH

Glad you're having a great holiday. Very clear pictures. It looks lovely there. Ah, coccyx? Thought I'd heard wrong for a minute there. Hope the pain subsides.

Oh there you are, word has it you were given the holiday free so you wouldn't go to Rio and cause havoc in the Favela's as the drugs gangs just don't have the weaponry to get through your ARD exterior. Anyway don't come back without the duty frees, remember mines 200 Silk cut and a bottle of Sambuca u loon!.

Tony thanks for the pics..could the pain be your sacroiliac joint the one at the bottom of your back between the hips..the pain can be caused by limping, I am sure you do a lot of that..I have just had an MRI on mine and waiting for the results..oops gone off on one there you enjoy your hols never mind Mell..he is only jealous of your hardness... :shock:

Thanks Joan. It's a wonderful place and the people here are really nice too.

Barbara, could well be that joint. I've had my Methotrexate injection today so am hoping it dampens things down.
As for mell. What can I say? It's not my fault he's a big softie

Those are absolutely gorgeous photos! The water and the sky are so clear!! I'm beyond jealous. Any day I make it out of my house feels like an accomplishment, never mind getting on a boat some place like that! Maybe the fresh air might do me some good though.. Have a wonderful vacation if you are still there!

Thank you very much indeed. The camera phones these days have excellent cameras.. The hard thing in the sun is that you cannot see the screen so a lot of guesswork goes into settings etc.
I do like snapping away though. And I love trees and natural formations etc.
We are going back to Blanes in the morning to show our friends the campsite where we used to stay in the lodges. We are thinking of going back there next year. The sites are beautiful and the atmosphere can be better than the hotels. Plus it's over £250 cheaper EACH for the same holiday :shock:
we are not going on the bus like the other day. It took a very heavy toll on me.
We have ordered a taxi for the six of us so it shouldn't be expensive.
We may get the boat back.

I'll try get more photos up tomorrow.
I'm really pleased you like them.

Turbo, the north is the only pay off Spain we have been to and loved it each time.
Have had a lovely holiday so far.

I did my Methotrexate injection earlier today so I'm hoping that the joints stay behaving from tomorrow.

this is the view from this evening. We ate out at the local steakhouse.
The castle on the hill here in Tossa can be seen in the background.

Apparently there is a statue of Ava Gardener up there. A film called Pandora and the flying Dutchman was filmed here many years ago.

HAHA at holding her bosom. You took the bus? That is brave of you! I did a tour of Paris on the bus with my mom and although you get to see the city from the local's point of view, it was tiring on me. (I used a cane at the time). But my mother is extremely frugal and didnt want to spend money on a cab. So we went trekking around Paris on public transportation and in the subway. I slept very well that night because I was exhausted.

we have to come by coach as my other half cannot fly due to heart failure. To be honest though, we have been coming by coach for many yrs anyway.
The company we use now Si.sta have excellent seats, more space then ever before, they recline well etc. They stop regularly and each person has their own TV with films, music etc. . Hostess service throughout. Plus wifi. I always take plenty of diazapam with me as it is the only way I can truly rest. I manage some sleep. It takes around 26hrs from Leeds.

I really wish I could stay awake for the England game but I am worn out today. We have had a storm raging since this afternoon and my joints are very unhappy. I am suffering and have had to retire to bed. The bar opposite the hotel is full of England fans so I will probably hear what is happening lol.

We leave around 14.00 tomorrow. Home by around 16.00 Monday.
I am hoping that the wifi on the coach is up to scratch lol.

I am glad that you have enjoyed the photos.
