Positive payback

Positive in that every single bit of ache , twinge and sheer agony is worth it ! Papasmurf and I saw Rod Stewart live at the Amex stadium last night , I'm still on cloud nine .

    I'm so pleased for you, mamasmurf. How typical of you to accept the payback for what it is but still concentrate on the good bit. I hope it eases up soon and you have some lovely memories to help.

    It was an amazing , fantabulous concert ! We had amazing seats as the wheelies were up in the footie director's box area with a wonderful view . The aches and weariness really hit me yesterday so it was a quiet day in with visits from kids and their spouses for papasmurf day . Feeling more human today , Sticky , so off to the beach later to blow away the cobwebs ; reckon 69 year old Rodney can compete with your rugby hunks any old day !

    I have to dispute the last bit, mamasmurf :lol: I'm married to a 71 yr old and, although I'd never dream of telling him :wink: there's a big difference between a reasonably fit 71 yr old body and a superfit 20-30 yr old one.

    I do hope the cobwebs got blown away :D
