Tea!

Does anyone know where/who sells proper loose tea (as in tea leaves, the old fashioned way)?
I've decided to go back to loose tea in a tea pot, really because I'm sure it tastes better than tea bags and because when I use the bags they always gravitate to the spout inside the pot, blocking it and making it dribble.
The loose stuff I've bought is freeze dried and looks like coffee granuals, WHY does it have to be messed about with?

Any answers on a postcard please to, Angry of Somerset

Sorry, couldn't find a postcard. :D There's a super little shop on The Shambles in York - Hebden Teas - and they are online, too. I bought some the last time I was there. Betty's of York also sell loose teas, which are lovely. I only drink decaffeinated and the Betty's tea has a really nice flavour.

The Whittards chain do loose tea, as will any specialist tea and coffee shop. I think larger supermarkets do too - as to which makes I don't know. Otherwise how about a teapot with a high spout? The first two cups should flow OK. DD

I've just had a look and there appear to be leaf teas as well as others. In fact it's quite an interesting site. Here's the link:

Almost every where sells loose leafe tea but, it's all freeze dried which is not what I want, I want the leaf (as in when I was a kid)
