Reclaiming VAT

My local disability shop just ask me to sign (They have a pad of forms) whenever I buy something. The shop assistant should have done this when you bought the rollator. I would doubt you can claim retrospectively even if you still have the receipt but you could try asking your local DIAL UK (Just google it) if they know of a way of doing it.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Whenever I buy anything which can be VAT-free I do so in a 'proper' disability shop (I have the choice of three) and I complete a form with my name, address and nature of disability so I pay the VAT-free price. I don't know how to go about reclaiming it, however, maybe the CAB could help? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
