    My first dentist was a Mr Payne.

    I vaguely remembered that I'd heard there was a word for this so I checked it out. There is. It's aponym. The beeb has a good article on it http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_9664000/9664697.stm
    I particularly like Vicar Vickers and his father Randy Vickers.
