Elaine Stritch has died aged 89. She of the gravel voice and many tv shows.

    I recognise the name but cannot remember what she starred in. She had a lovely throaty voice if I remember correctly. Did she star as a police woman or detective in a show?

    I remember angie Dickinson. Just trying to think of what TV appearances Elaine Stritch made as I definately recognised her name and immediately linked it to the voice.
