Just in the centre having a bite to eat. The kids (our two nephews) are very excited about staying in a hotel for the weekend. It's just a premier Inn but they've never been to a hotel before.
We are taking them to Knowsley Safari park tomorrow. They have no idea about that. They just know we are taking them somewhere cool.

Was a lot of traffic on the way as a lorry had over turned just off the M60 I believe.
Plus the rain was horrid. It seems to have calmed a little and the sun is trying it's best to make an appearance. .

Wish us luck lol

We went to see the 'Dream' statue before coming to the hotel. It's a very impressive piece. Although some little scroats have defaced it with graffiti. . They need castrating!!!! :x

It was a hell of a walk for me and a quite steep hill imvolved but I used my brolly as a stick and did it very slowly. The rain was falling but had slowed down. The kids thought it was incredible.

I've just told Charlie we are off to watch some paint dry as they've been trying to natter it out of us what the surprise is tomorrow. He played heck with me for spoiling the surprise :shock:

Have a fantastic time. I keep meaning to visit that close to - from the motorway it looks quite rude.

Still pouring down here Tony, I have never seen the statue it looks amazing..my late mum used to say we are off to watch the paint dry...I love it ..you have a really good time tomorrow and watch out for those monkeys.. I am sure the kids will love it...

The safari is great. I think we will take the monkey safe route though. That way we can watch the folks getting their wipers ripped off

Had a good breakfast so gonna have a mooch around till the gates open at ten. I'm exhausted already and in a fair wack of pain. I will be taking things easy today. I'll wait in the car whilst they wonder about.

had a great morning. Animals got very close. Especially the lions. I'm sat in the car while they walk round a little bit and get some food. It is chucking it down here. .

Shame about the weather but I'm sure the boys loved it, and thought it was better than watching paint dry. Hope the after effects for you aren't too bad.
