Next stop Stockton upon Tees (Again)

Hi folks.
We are setting off soon for another weekend in Stockton. Same hotel (Lenny Henry's favourite) by the water and the rafting training place.
Looking forward to it. Will try get some photos. And some gentle walking done.

Enjoy your trip - when my youngest son was a student he worked his holidays for the firm who did the landscaping of the riverside at Stockton. We live in Durham, not so far from there.

They've been for a wonder round. I rested at the hotel.
Going for a meal tonight at some Italian place nearby.
I think steak will be on mi plate lol. I don't do Italian food. Too much Devil's testes. . :shock: (tomatoes to those that dint know lol)

We went to yarm this morning. I'm in a lot of pain though. The mattress was awful. A big shock as them hotels usually have great beds. In fact, that's the main reason we use them (premier inn)
Went to reception this morning. Are going to move us to another room today and have already refunded us for last night. Can't ask for more than that.

We are now in Darlington. I am staying in the car though. Had a good walk by the river in yarm so I ain't pushing my luck.
Took some photos. Will try post em later.

Hope you enjoyed our little town and your walk by the river. It is unusual to find their mattresses are uncomfortable. Fingers crossed for a better night's sleep tonight.

Second bed/mattress is a lot better hun.

We stopped off at pateley bridge.. Lucky choice as there is a fantastic 40's day going on. It is really cool. .

Was a great couple of hours sloshy.
We have just got back to Leeds. I'm outside the supermarket. J has gone in for some essentials. . Lol

Glad you got a better bed Tony, and that was lucky com ing across the 40s day..we used to go to one at Haworth in Yorkshire, dont think I could get up the hill now, the pic are brilliant..look forwarc to seeing more..

I forgot to ask if you found Yarm Castle. Not many people do unless they know where it is. The 40s day sounded like fun.
