A full life and a great legacy to leave behindHe did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

A brilliant actor. He was pretty local to us, his father was headmaster of one of the local schools, and he and his wife Sheila Simm opened the Memorial Community Hall in our village back in the 1950s. A sad day indeed.

R.I.P Richard Attenborough. It is comforting to know that you lead a very full and long life. You were responsible for some of my favourite films. What a legacy you've left us! "0
