After 3 years and 10 months I was discharged from the
gastro clinic this morning.
It's a slug of Jamesons and the Prom tonight.

    Wow! Congratulations, that is fantastic news. I bet it feels a bit odd that you won't be going back there and seeing what, by now, must be familiar faces. Enjoy your Jameson and Prom, savour both as the ending to a long chapter!

    Brilliant news, ichabod :D I guess we should be grateful for an NHS which takes care of us so well but, as we age, we seem to collect clinics as we used to collect stamps etc. :roll: It's always great to lose one :wink:
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    As I write, it's the second item from the Proms concert and the
